Pattison's 4 Traditions Assignment

Instructions:
After having read Pattisons 4 Tradtions of Geography article, you are to locate a current event piece that can be applied to EACH of the traditions (that means 4 total, one for each tradition). Once you have found an article that applies, your job is to state the tradition, copy and paste the title into your page, link it to the article, and name the source in Italics. After having read the article, you are to first summarize the article, and then explain why the article exemplifies the tradition. Shoot for 6-10 sentances per tradition/article. See below for an example.

Man-Land Tradition: Travel may take days to return to normal after Hurricane Irene, CNN.
Summary and application: This article discusses the impact that Hurricane Irene had along the east coast of the United States and how travel, especially at airports, has been effected. Blah blah blah.....This is an example of the Man-Land tradition because.....blah blah blah...6-10 sentances.
